I am a fairly new LSIT (Passed the October 2008 exams), looking for a position in the surveying field in the Turlock/Modesto area. I was unfortunately laid off in July of 2009, and since then have been working in an unrelated field in order to keep bills paid. I am hoping to find something related to surveying to keep my skills sharp.
I have worked in a variety of roles within the field, ranging from rodman to instrument technician, as well as managing the front office of a surveying firm. I have experience in Autocad, field work with Topcon, Leica, and Trimble instruments, and writing legal descriptions. Unfortunately I cannot relocate, but I am willing to commute from the Turlock area.
Any position related to surveying will do, be it field or office work, or just answering phones. I will be posting a resume as an attachment at a later date, or I can email said resume if there is interest.
