Responsibilities:
The selected candidate will become responsible for leading survey services within the Sacramento office of KPFF Consulting Engineers, located in Roseville, California. KPFF’s Sacramento office currently provides civil engineering, structural engineering, and surveying services with a total staff of 40. The survey department currently has a staff of 5, and we are searching for a licensed surveyor with the desire and capability to become the Survey Director the department.
Duties include:
• Prepare fee proposals
• Be in responsible charge of survey work within the Sacramento office
• Train and manage the survey staff
• Communicate effectively with clients
• Coordinate with KPFF’s other group leaders
• Maintain existing equipment and recommend new equipment

Position Requirements:
• P.L.S. certification with at least eight years of surveying experience
• Excellent communication skills as well as time management and organizational skills
• Effective people skills to manage a group within KPFF
• Ability to work on multiple projects and deliverables simultaneously
• Valid driver’s license

Candidate will work on a wide variety of interesting and challenging projects.
