Riverside – The County of Riverside is hosting the first annual “Public Works Day” to showcase the County’s public works departments and projects that improve residents’ quality of life.
The event is free to attend and will begin with a proclamation from the Board of Supervisors as well as an opportunity to learn how each department plays a role in public works project’s overall success, from environmental health, sewage, flood control, waste management to code enforcement.
The event will take place on Tuesday, May 21st, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the County Administrative Center (CAC) located at 4080 Lemon St, Riverside, CA 92501. Free parking for visitors is available in the CAC parking lot.
