Alameda County Public Works Agency seeks dedicated and dynamic individuals to fill our Senior Land Surveyor positions. In this class, the Senior Land Surveyor is the first-line Supervisor of either the Survey Support Section of the Capital Improvement Program or the County Survey Section responsible for both the office and required field survey work; and to perform other related duties.
The minimum qualifications are listed below:
The equivalent of two years’ full-time experience in the class of Land Surveyor in the Alameda County classified service.
The equivalent of six years of full-time experience in land survey work of which two years must have included supervisory experience managing the work of professional and technical staff.
Must possess a valid certificate of registration as a Land Surveyor, or a Civil Engineer authorized to practice Land Surveying, as issued by the State of California.
Must possess a valid Class C California Motor Vehicle Operator's license.
A Bachelor's degree in Land Surveying/Engineering or Math is considered desirable.
